Patta is a legal document issued by the government, it can be obtained from the Tahsildar’s office of the particular district. A patta consists of the following details:

Name of the District, Taluk and Village.

Patta Number.

Name of the owner.

Size, Survey number and Subdivision.

Is it a Nanjai Nilam (wetland) and Punjai Nilam (dry land) in Tamil.

The building or land plan approval process relates to the issue of permission for the construction of buildings or layout based on specific set of rules and regulations. As per the relevant provisions of the State Municipality Acts.

(if applicable) A completion certificate is given by the municipal corporation after the construction of a building to establish that it was constructed according to a sanction plan and that it is ready to be occupied.

 (if applicable) It is important to ask the developer to produce copies of various NOC’s that must be procured from various departments.
